What is Access Line?

A dedicated support line for people living in Swindon who are experiencing a mental health issue or concerns, including for carers, friends, family and professionals. This confidential listening service provides a safe space to talk if you or someone you know requires mental health support.

Alongside emotional and practical assistance, our dedicated team can guide you towards appropriate mental health services, whether within S&G Mind or through external providers in the local community.

How Can I Contact Access Line?

You can access Mind Line by calling 01793 547150 from any landline or mobile. This is a free phone number, so it will not cost you to make the call.

What can we offer?
  • Access Line is a 365-telephone support line service that helps people access the right mental health support at the right time.

  • The service answers incoming calls and explores the need and support required by asking questions to help understand the nature of the call to provide the best possible outcomes for the person calling.

 

  • Calls can last up to 45 minutes, and it is a free service.
Who can access the service?
  • Access Line is an open line for people aged 16+ to call if residing in the Swindon Borough. 
How can I make a referral?
  • No referral is necessary for this service. Please call 01793 547150 if you wish to speak to a member of the Access Line team.

What are the Opening Hours of Access Line?

Monday to Sunday: 9 AM – 11 PM

If lines are busy during operating hours, the caller will be taken to an answering machine message explaining that all lines are currently busy, but we will return the call within the same day if they have called before 22:00.
